Members and staff of St Philips Chambers attended the recent Midlands Society of Asian Lawyers (MSAL) third annual dinner

Members and staff of St Philips Chambers attended the recent Midlands Society of Asian Lawyers (MSAL) third annual dinner dance held at Athena in Leicester.

The Guest of Honour for the evening was the Honourable Mrs Justice Dobbs.

Nirmal Shant QC, Chair MSAL, announced the newly launched mentoring scheme, which has been set up in collaboration with the Bar Council. The scheme is designed to assist those applying for silk and judicial appointments.

Committee member in charge of administering the mentoring scheme for MSAL and practising family barrister at St Philips, Zira Hussain said 'the evening was yet again another great success and I was proud to see so many supporting the MSAL on the evening.'

St Philips Chambers were one of the official sponsors on the night.
