Ed Pepperall has been appointed to the Lexis-Nexis Consultant Editorial Board for Dispute Resolution. Commenting on this appointment a spokesperson for the legal publisher said:

"We are delighted that Ed Pepperall has accepted an invitation to join the Consulting Editorial Board for our Dispute Resolution module. As a member of the sub-committee on Part 36 reform and of the working party on costs management, Ed will play a vital role in ensuring our coverage of costs (and all the changes that the Jackson Review promises) is of the highest possible quality and currency. We warmly welcome Ed to the Board."

Ed Pepperall has also been appointed to review the new Costs Practice Directions which are a centre-piece of the Jackson costs reforms. They will then go before the Rule Committee this autumn.

Meanwhile Professor Dominic Regan, who each year lists those barristers and Judges who are "on their way up", identified Ed as one of those juniors "surely next in line to take silk" commenting on his recent success in Caterpillar Logistics Services v. Huesca de Crean in the Court of Appeal.

Ed will again be ranked by Chambers UK 2013 under commercial dispute resolution, employment and restructuring and insolvency. Recent editions have praised him for being "incredibly quick on his feet" and reported that his "relaxed and calm approach instils confidence."
