In 2009 these skills were recognised by The Financial Times when they awarded Dominic its Innovative Lawyers Award for the creation of the concept of a contractual profit reserve.

Dominic also has a leading practice in shareholder and corporate governance disputes, including director defence work, and has been appointed in connection with various internal and governmental corporate Investigations.

Dominic was formerly a litigation and corporate partner at a leading law firm and his expertise includes advising on transactional matters arising out of merger and acquisitions, takeover schemes, returns of capital and group reconstructions. He also advises on contentious company law matters such as diversion of business issues, director removals, pre-emption transfer and allotment disputes and unlawful distributions and has considerable expertise and long-standing experience of director disqualification claims.
