Jake Smithers joined St Philips Chambers as a Junior Civil Clerk in Summer 2017 and was promoted to clerking for the Business & Property Group in Summer 2018. Working closely with his fellow clerks, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the diary and can assist with enquiries for all of our specialist areas.

Jake is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and has completed the IBC Introduction to Business Management Course, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI).

Outside of work, he can be found trying his luck at his local pub quiz or having some downtime listening to some of his favourite music.
